Chloe Taylor

Overview.
Chloe Taylor is a STEM education consulting company located in New York City that provides services to schools that are adding STEM education to their curriculum. Although Chloe already had a pre-existing brand, she approached me with the request for a colorful brand redesign that would add a personality and fun flair to her logo and website.

Logo.
Focusing on the future-focused aspect of STEM and Chloe’s desire for a fun brand aimed at children, we selected a vibrant and versatile color palette that could be used on a case by case basis, as well as in a gradient format. A quirky sans serif typeface was selected for its legibility as well as its modern and adaptable letterforms. When combined, the elements create a playful and sleek logo that appeals to the future of STEM education and the children who will be participating.

Website.
Once the logo was approved, we started developing an extended visual identity that would create a louder than life website. Above all, Chloe wanted bold textures, bright colors, and fun photos that would help her brand stand out against the more traditional competition. Illustrative elements were created to give each corner of Chloe’s website a custom and exciting look, including: 5 core value icons, 4 spot illustrated headshots, 1 spot illustrated book advertisement, patterns for call out boxes, and six organic patterns for her curriculum pages.
