CuddleCoin

Overview.
CuddleCoin is a cryptocurrency developed by Adam Grant that strives to align the value of money with the things we love. This new currency, which is formatted as bills instead of the typical coin, is meant to be shared among friends and is akin to a virtual hug or an expression of your love language.

Project.
Adam Grant approached me with the request of creating a new type of cryptocurrency called CuddleCoin. His goal was to use the pre-existing logo and theme of space to convey a universe full of love and affection, while still maintaining a quirky style. This lovingly quirky aesthetic was achieved through the use of cute, yet ambiguous planets reaching out to hug astronauts, as well as each other. Two different color palettes were used to match the pre-existing brand colors, which denoted the 100 and 1,000 dollar bills.
